Joh, n R. Stan*eh,ffeld. She was one o~f the few survivors of the ttinckley fire of 189-t. She was raised in Itinekley and re- e:qved her formal schooling thcve. In 1912, she came to Wi- baux. Merit as an employee of l~he Beaver Valley Gazette, w,hieh later became the Wibaux County Pioneer Gazette. In 1949, she became the owner and publisher of the paper and for the past 48 years has given of her time and efforts to the paper and the community it served.
